Rick Wright
Rick is honored to work with every one of his clients. Together, they've closed dozens of deals over the last few years in Middle TN totaling more than $25M. Real estate is integral to building wealth, and those clients have been watching their assets grow, sometimes leveraging that growth into more property. To love where you live and be earning off that investment, all around good vibes.
Currently residing in East Nashville, Rick has made some big cross-country moves personally (seven cities in all — Philly, Pittsburgh, Boston, LA, Seattle, D.C., Nashville), so he knows very well how challenging a big move can be. Every day, he wakes up excited to help another young couple find their first starter home or a growing family move on to the perfect place to make new memories. It’s a great gig.
When did you get into the business?
Entrepreneurship runs in the family. When I first earned my real estate license in 2007 in Seattle, my motivation was to help homebuyers learn how to make the most environmentally-conscious updates to their new purchase. 15 years later, that passion now includes all aspects of home buying or selling. It's so fulfilling to usher someone through one of the biggest transitions of their life.
How would you describe your work style with your clients?
Collaborative and hands-on. You're in the driver's seat, I'm the nav system. I'll make sure you're well-equipped to confidently get where you're going. When you work with me, you get me. How else could I understand your needs? I work hand-in-hand with lenders and title companies to make sure everything goes smoothly, and I'll be there for you personally, every step of the way.
What parts of your work do you really enjoy?
Being a Realtor really flexes my nerdy organizer brain. I make spreadsheets for fun - it’s true! I love transforming my client’s big homeownership dreams into small, achievable steps. Also, clarifying wishlists and discovering the potential in properties is a huge part of a successful move.
It's much easier to negotiate a fair deal when you know the market and the other players. I love keeping my eyes on property values, market trends, and I maintain strong relationships with a large network of brokers.
Do you work with folks relocating from other places?
Absolutely. I've made some big cross-country moves in my time (seven cities in all — Philly, Pittsburgh, Boston, LA, Seattle, D.C., Nashville), so I know very well how challenging a big move can be. Luckily, I have the experience, intel and resources to make the process a lot easier.
