Janet McRae is a lifelong Nashvillian who applies her love for the city and its people, with her 17 years of experience in assisting buyers and sellers with the Nashville residential real estate market.
After starting her professional career in the entertainment industry at Digital Recorders Studio and the William Morris Agency, it was her marriage to Glenn McRae, owner of Campbell, McRae Land Surveying that introduced her to the fast-paced, diverse and rewarding world of real estate.
She began her work in Nashville residential real estate in 2003 as an associate with French, Christianson Patterson and Associates. Janet later joined Village Real Estate Services in 2010, to increase her sales territory and take advantage of their unparalleled dedication to agent support and community service. Janet believes her ability to listen to, be considerate of and understand her client’s needs is her greatest attribute. Janet's attention to detail, professionalism and hard work, along with her wide range of contacts and resources in the area allows her to provide her clients with an exceptional real estate experience. Janet is always accessible, fully utilizing her mobile devices and home office to stay connected to her clients and associates at all times.
Janet is a member of the National Association of Realtors, the Greater Nashville Association of Realtors and holds the Accredited Buyer Representative designation from the Real Estate Buyer’s Agent Council. Over the last 17 years, Janet has been involved in over $21 million in successful real estate transactions.
When not selling real estate, Janet enjoys running and cooking, but her most valued position is that of wife, mother, and faithful guardian to her Westie, Charlie and her cat, Simon! ?
